Rabbi Yoseph Oziel
Rabbi Oziel was born in Rabat, Morocco and he moved with his family to Montreal, Canada in 1976.
He attended the Yeshiva Gedola of Montreal High School and then for post-secondary education.
In 1992, he married married Muriel Amar.
Rabbi Oziel received his Semicha from Rav Shlomo A. Altusky Shlit"a
Bet HaMedrash LeHora'a for Semicha Studies.
After receiving Semicha he held a part-time position as Rabbi at Centre Communautaire Juif
In the summer of 1997, Rabbi Oziel and his family moved to Toronto
to accept the position of Rabbi of Petah Tikva Congregation
As well, Rabbi Oziel is on the board of the Vaad HaRabbanim of Toronto
and Rabbinical Vaad HaKashrut of COR.
Rabbi & Rebetzin Oziel have two beautiful sons, Avraham & Moshe
